Hotel Equo Aranjuez

I stayed here for one night on my way to Madrid after a tiring drive. I booked the biggest room the property offered on agoda - a double room with a balcony. Much to my dismay, my room was tiny. There was hardly any room on any side of the bed. It was no where near 24sq meters advertised on agoda. The room had a balcony, across from which a family had a direct view to into my room from their balcony. This was not what I had in mind. The pictures on their web site showed a view to a bull fight statdium. And the room was located at the back of the property. This part of the hotel appeared to have been an augmentation to the original building, sort of, as a remodel, or a "glue job," between two building to add more rooms. Despite the room being in the backside of the hotel, road noise was still audible. We were just too tired so we didn't bother complaining. Another thing that was really disappointing was free breakfast in the morning. It looked like they were bought from a gas station. Bread, pastry, cheese, olive oil, all looked really sad. I asked if they had any hot items like fried eggs that I can order a la carte since they seemed to have a kitchen. Nope, not available. Any pan con tomate for purchase? Nope. I just left for another cafe in town. The only good thing about this hotel was ample street parking. I would not stay here. Just bad value for my money.
